Danyoudee Town Residents Complain over Bad Road Condition, Seek Gov.’s Intervention

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Residents of Danyoudee Town in Clay District, Bomi County, are calling on the Government and local authorities to help rehabilitate a major farm-to-market road in the district.

The Town Chief of Danyoudee Town, Boima Kai, in an exclusive interview with Journalists, was alarmed over the deplorable condition of the road.

Our correspondent quotes Chief Kai as saying the bad state of roads is seriously hampering economic activities in that part of the country, making life difficult for residents.

The bad road condition has led to a high cost of transportation, affecting residents who largely depend on farming and other smaller skill jobs for survival.

The residents of Danyoudee Town want the County authorities to help provide basic tools to enable them to make some progress on the road while awaiting the government’s intervention.
