Central Agricultural Research Institute Refutes Verity Online News Publication…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The administration of the Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI) has condemned the recent publication of Verity Online News, in which it stated that it has in its possession a leaked audio linking the Institution’s Director General, Dr. Arthur Karnuah, to a statement that he will dismiss everyone from the Institute and replace them with people from Nimba County.

According to the release, the publication is not only naïve and illogical, but it’s also intended to decimate the good image of Dr. Karnuah, who is exerting every effort to uplift CARI, which was once engulfed by bad leadership, dormancy, and work ethics.

CARI challenges Verity News Online and all media entities in possession of any audio of such nature to publish it for clarity and public scrutiny.

These distractions will never be allowed to slow down or hinder the progress being made under the ARREST agenda of the President of the Republic of Liberia, H.E. Joseph Nyuma Boakai.

CARI is encouraging the Liberian media to publish factual information about the institution, as its role is to serve the public.

However, CARI will not take lightly any attempt by blackmailers to tarnish the name of the Institution and its Administrators.

Any media entity or individual that chooses a path of putting lies in the public for their own selfish reasons will face severe legal consequences, as CARI will have no option but to file litigation against such an individual.
