MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Revenue Authority is calling for sustained political will, stronger inter-agency cooperation, and a data-driven approach to protect the Country’s revenue base.
LRA Commissioner General, Dorbor Jallah, said,” Tackling tax crime is vital to ensure fairness and build public trust, for the advancement of national development”.
According to a release, the LRA Commissioner General spoke on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the end of the Second Joint Tax Crime Investigation Mission in Liberia.
The event was hosted by the LRA in partnership with the Tax Inspectors Without Borders and tax experts from Sweden and Kenya.
The move seeks to strengthen the fight against tax evasion and financial crime in Liberia, to ensure the Country meets its domestic resource mobilisation goals.
