MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Education Minister, Jarso Jallah, is urging Liberians to take advantage of the Erasmus program, describing it as a path for professional careers and national development.
Speaking on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Erasmus Information Session in Congo Town, Minister Jallah emphasized that the program offers an incredible opportunity to study abroad, gain skills, and return to contribute to Liberia’s progress.
The education minister stressed that Liberia’s prosperity lies not only in its natural resources, but also in the knowledge and expertise of its citizens.
She thanked the European Union for its support, highlighting the close collaboration between the EU and local partners that made Liberia’s access to Erasmus possible.
Minister Jarso Jallah also encouraged students to push themselves in studying abroad, despite the challenges of cultural differences and demanding application processes.
