Liberia Chamber of Commerce Launches New Website….

MONROVIA, LIBERIAThe Liberia Chamber of Commerce (LCC) has officially launched its new state-of-the-art website.

The platform is designed to be a comprehensive digital hub for the Liberian business community, marking a pivotal moment in the Chamber’s mission to empower commerce and industry.

The launch event, held at the Chamber’s headquarters on Friday, November 14, 2025, in Monrovia, was attended by business leaders, government officials, and members of the diplomatic corps, all heralding the new website as a vital tool for modernizing Liberia’s commercial landscape.

The unveiled website features a clean, user-friendly interface and a host of functionalities aimed at streamlining access to critical resources.

In his address at the launch, the President of the Liberia Chamber of Commerce, Natty Davis, emphasized the website’s role in fostering a more inclusive and dynamic Private Sector.

“The website reaffirms our commitment to modernizing how we connect, communicate, and serve Liberia’s business community”, Davis stated.

He emphasized that the new platform serves as a central hub where members, partners, and the wider public can easily engage with the Chamber’s initiatives and opportunities.

The LCC President termed the development as a collaborative effort with partners, noting its potential to attract investment and improve transparency.

The New LCC’s Website was funded by the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Speaking via ZOOM, the ILO Senior Specialist for Employers’ Activities Decent Work Team for West Africa, Julie Kazagui, described the platform as a valuable bridge between businesses and policymakers.

Madam Kazagui also emphasized the website’s role in fostering a more inclusive and dynamic Private Sector.

“This digital platform is a testament to the collective commitment of the Liberia Chamber of Commerce and partners in providing best-in-class services to members”, Madam Kazagui asserted.

She said,” The initiative will break down geographical barriers, improve communication, and provide Liberian businesses with the tools they need to thrive in a competitive global economy”.

Also speaking, the Director for Domestic Trade at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Richard Pratt, reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the LCC.

Director Pratt praised the LCC President and his team for the hard work in launching the platform.

“The government welcomes this initiative by the Liberia Chamber of Commerce”, says Director Pratt.

During the launch, the Communications Officer of the Liberia Chamber of Commerce, Grace Moleyeaze, did a live demonstration of the website, highlighting its features, among others.

A digitally empowered private sector is crucial for national development.

This platform will serve as a valuable bridge between businesses and policymakers, ensuring that the voice of commerce is heard loud and clear.

Business owners and LCC members expressed enthusiasm for the new tool.

The Liberia Chamber of Commerce is the premier voice of the Liberian business community.

Established to promote and protect commercial and industrial interests in Liberia, the LCC advocates for a conducive business environment, facilitates trade and investment, and provides key services to its members to foster sustainable economic development.
