MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Patriotic Party (NPP) has commended the Government of Liberia for its leadership role played in strengthening diplomatic relationships with the United States of America.

A statement from the NPP comes days after the US Government announced visa expansion for Liberians from one to three years.

Such accomplishment, the NPP said, is a clear indication that the United States is enjoying positive diplomatic ties with Liberia.

The NPP, in a release, called on the citizens to applaud the Government of Liberia, while warning against the misuse of the opportunity for self-interest over national interest.

It also appreciates the government’s efforts in fighting drugs.
