Pres. Boakai Consoles Ghanaian Pres. Mahama on Death of Former First Lady Nana Konadu Rawlings

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has consoled his Ghanaian counterpart, John Dramani Mahama, on the passing of Ghana’s former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.

In his message to President Mahama, President Boaka, on behalf of the government and people of Liberia, extended profound condolences on the sad passing of Ghana’s former First Lady.

He recounted her exemplary leadership, tireless dedication, and advocacy for the advancement of women’s empowerment in Ghana, adding that her vision and commitment to the welfare of her people have left an indelible mark, not only on her country but also across West Africa.

President Boakai further noted that Liberia stands with President Mahama and the people of Ghana in mourning the loss of such a remarkable stateswoman.

The Liberian Leader also wished that the former First Lady’s legacy continue to inspire present and future generations.
