Pres. Boakai Calls for Greater Inclusion, Effectiveness, Respect…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has called for greater inclusion, effectiveness, and respect for international laws among Member States of the UN.

The Liberian Leader said,” For the UN to remain relevant and practical, it must adapt to present-day realities and refrain from the usage of outdated 1945 solutions to tackle 2025 challenges”.

President Boakai said a responsive, vibrant, and impactful UN is key to addressing present-day challenges and finding solutions to the worsening humanitarian crisis globally.

President Boakai’s remarks were contained in a speech delivered at the ongoing 80th Session of the UN General Assembly in the US on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

President Joseph Boakai also encouraged member countries to support the organization’s vision and mission to make the world a better place for all mankind.
