Agriculture Ministry, Partners, Commence Two-day Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Agriculture and partners have commenced a two-day multi-stakeholder dialogue on incentives for sector investment in Liberia.

Deputy Agriculture Minister for Planning, David Akoi, said.” The event aims to look at challenges and leverage opportunities for the rice value chain, while strengthening the ministry’s capacity to provide sufficient rice for Liberia.

The dialogue is being hosted under the theme:” Building Trust and Establishing a Shared Vision for Liberia’s Rice Value Chain”.

The training brings together Private Sector investors, representatives from the ministries of Finance, State for Presidential Affairs, local NGOs from Liberia’s fifteen counties, and development partners.

Meanwhile, participants of the gathering have pledged their full support to the initiative, while calling for strong collaboration to improve Private Sector investment in Liberia.
