Nat’l Port Authority Discusses with APM Terminal Tariff’s Reduction on Imported Goods

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Port Authority (NPA) says talks are ongoing with the APM Terminal to reduce tariffs on goods being imported to Liberia.

NPA Managing Director, Sekou Dukuly, said,” The move is part of the Liberian Government’s efforts to revitalize the NPA and ensure a conducive environment for business owners”.

He emphasized the Liberian Government’s strong determination to build a port system that fosters transparency and accountability, creating a level playing field for business to flourish.

Meanwhile, the NPA Managing Director said the entity’s long-awaited master plan, which intends to accrue investment opportunities for the NPA, is nearing completion and will be unveiled to the public shortly.
