Gov. of Liberia Extols India for Sturdy Relationship…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government of Liberia is commending the Government and people of India for the strong relationship, which has enhanced economic growth for both countries.

According to the Secretary General of the Liberia Chambers of Commerce, Cathrine Karmo, Indian is making significant strides in Liberia in the facilitation of business connections and promotion of local crops.

Madam Karmo spoke recently when the Indian Embassy near Monrovia bid farewell to its outgoing Charge d’Affaires Jitendra Rawat.

She noted that Jitendra Rawat was a dedicated public servant who strengthened trade and investment ties between Liberia and India.

Madam Cathrine Karmo expressed explicit confidence that the friendship between Liberia and India will continue to grow for the benefit of both countries.

Meanwhile, the outgoing Indian Embassy Charge d’Affaires expressed deep gratitude to the Liberian Government for the mutual relationship.

He said,” The Indian Embassy faced some challenges during its establishment in Liberia, but the Liberian Government has been robust over the years to ensure that Indian gets an embassy in Liberia”.

The India Envoy named the establishment of the embassy, enhanced diplomacy, and the launch of passport and visa services in Liberia as some of India’s achievements in Liberia.
