MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Chief Justice Yamie Gbeisay says his administration will dispense justice without fear or favor to safeguard Liberia’s democracy.
Justice Gbeisay highlighted the need for immediate attention in various areas of justice and reform, including infrastructure development and judicial conferences.
The new Liberia Chief Justice disclosed that his administration will continue working along with the rebranding program introduced by his predecessor to effectively perform their services, particularly in the rural areas and throughout the country.
Justice Gbeisay also confirmed the inspection of the judiciary through the establishment of the statistical date reflecting the number of cases and administrative decision taken by members of the Justice System of the country.
Justice Gbeisay was speaking during program marking his official seating held at the Supreme Court of Liberia on Tuesday, August 20, 2025.
At the same time Chief Justice Gbeisay has vowed to conduct a full-scale audit of the Judiciary.
He pledged to take disciplinary action against judges that would carry out legal-malpractices, noting that his administration is committed to rebranding programs and policies of his predecessor in the interest of the Liberian people.
Meanwhile, Chief Justice Yamie Gbeisay has reiterated his administration’s commitment to be robust and result-oriented in the dispensation of justice.
