Unity Party Chairman Says Gov. Working Out Modalities to Provide Jobs across Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Chairman of the governing Unity Party (UP) says the Liberian Government is working out modalities to ensure that Liberians are given jobs across the country.

Rev. Luther Tarpeh says,” There are challenges faced by citizens, and the government is doing its utmost best in connecting the country nationally and internationally”.

He called on citizens to desist from just depending on the government for jobs as a means of survival and help to improve the Private Sector, stressing that such a move needs the government’s support.

The UP Chairman maintained that investing in the Private Sector is critical to reducing the burden placed on the shoulders of the government.

Meanwhile, Rev. Luther Tarpeh encouraged officials of the Unity Party to create a conducive working relationship with partisans and citizens, dismissing rumors that he applied for a job following the 2023 elections.
