MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Deputy Finance Minister for Budget and Development Planning, Tenneh Brunson, has underscored the central role of project identification, design, monitoring, and evaluation in advancing the County Development Agenda (CDA) nationwide.
Speaking at the opening of a four-day capacity building workshop in Buchanan, Deputy Minister Brunson said,” Effective project management is essential for turning development plans into tangible outcomes across the fifteen counties”.
According to her, when projects are identified, designed, monitored, and evaluated, the CDA’s objectives across Liberia will be accomplished.
Deputy Minister Brunson explained that the initiative is intended to strengthen project development, planning, and CDA coordination in alignment with the Liberian Government’s ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID).
A Finance Ministry release quotes Deputy Minister Brunson as reiterating that the CDA remains a cornerstone of Liberia’s national development framework.
The Deputy Finance Minister for Budget and Development reassured local officials that the ministry remains committed to supporting county-level initiatives through better budget alignment, timely disbursements, and technical assistance.
