MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Signing of the Book of Condolence for fallen Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Sylvester Grigsby, has begun in Monrovia.
The formal signing began on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the Executive Mansion with several government officials, foreign diplomats, and dignitaries in attendance.
Liberian Embassies worldwide have also opened condolence books to allow citizens abroad to honor the memory of the fallen statesman.
On Friday, August 15, the Book of Condolence will be available to the public at the Foreign Ministry, where Minister Grigsby served prominently.
The Government earlier announced the arrangements for the signing of the Book of Condolence for the fallen statesman.
Meanwhile, a high-powered Liberian delegation is currently in Ghana to attend the funeral and burial of victims of the recent military helicopter crash around the Ashanti Region in that country.
The delegation led by Vice President Jeremiah Koung includes Defense Minister Geraldine George Johnson and National Security Advisor Samuel Koffi-Woods.
Presidential Press Secretary Kula Fofana said the delegation is conveying Liberia’s sympathy to the Government and people of Ghana for the irreparable loss sustained.
Madam Fofana also highlighted the longstanding sisterly ties between Liberia and Ghana, as well.
She disclosed on Thursday, August 14, 2025, on the “Super Morning Show” on ELBC Radio.
