MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Information Minister Jerolinmek Piah says the Liberian Government is working closely with the family of the late Minister of State for Presidential Affairs Sylvester Grigsby to ensure that he receives a befitting burial.

Minister Piah described the late Grigsby as an exceptional leader in public service, noting that he was a decent statesman who served his country with due diligence.

Minister Piah said,” The fallen official was the master mind behind the dinner with media practitioners held on April 10 this year”.

Addressing the MICAT Regular Press briefing on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in Monrovia, Information Minister Piah noted that the late Grigsby’s leadership style and dedication left an indelible mark on the nation’s governance.

Meanwhile, Minister Piah disclosed that all information regarding the funeral arrangements will be released by the Ministry of Information.
