MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Airport Authority (LAA), in partnership with the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, has commenced a series of aviation technical trainings for staff of the Roberts International Airport, the Joint Security, and partners of the LAA.
The initiative aims to enhance the skills and competencies of LAA staff and airport workers, thereby paving the way for improved airport operations and customer service.
The training is focused on various aspects of airport management, including public safety and security, airport terminal operations, emergency management, and human trafficking, among others.
During the opening ceremony, LAA Managing Director Jero Mends Cole expressed his gratitude for the partnership and emphasized the importance of such an initiative in transforming Liberia’s aviation sector.
The sister-partnership between the Liberia Airport Authority and the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is focused on capacity building in aviation, including training and talent development, as well as technical and managerial support.
