Information Minister Jerolinmek Piah warned against those criticizing the holiday to be aware that without God, nothing is possible.

In another development, the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC) has imported about 3.5 million gallons of petroleum products into the country, with an additional seventeen thousand metric tons expected soon.

Disclosing the MICAT Regular Press Briefing on Thursday, July 31, 2025, in Monrovia, Deputy Information Minister for Public Affairs Daniel Sando said,” The move is intended to settle the issue of petroleum shortage on the Liberian market.”

Minister Sando added that the LPRC’s action is also geared towards setting a price control system across the country.
