MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Ahead of Liberia’s 178th Independence Day Celebration, BnB Liberia has given away several valuable items to its agents through a raffle draw process in Monrovia.
The items received by the agents include motorbikes, televisions, phones, and cash prizes, among others.
A team of professionals with expertise in software development and remittance business management leads BnB Liberia. It is a legalized company under the government, with its aim of carrying out transactions from Liberia to several countries.
During the occasion, the Managing Director of BnB Liberia, David Ojo, said the giveaway is the company’s way of appreciating its agents for their diligent service over the year.
According to MD Ojo, since the establishment of the company in Liberia, it has partnered with relevant stakeholders, including banks, telecommunications companies, and money transfer organizations in the financial industry, enabling customers to have access to their funds digitally and physically.
“This giveaway is BnB’s way of identifying with all our agents for doing business with us. A few days ago, we called some of you our agents who will be doing a giveaway in a raffle draw, and this is what we are doing today,” he stated.
As the regulatory arm for lottery in Liberia, an official of the National Lottery Authority, Barccus Sargben, thanked BnB Liberia for giving back to Liberian businesses and urged them to continue their valuable service to the country.
“As the government institution responsible for regulating lotteries in this country, we are here to witness the BnB Liberia giveaway process and to tell Liberia that the company is reliable.
“We also want to say thanks to BnB Liberia for giving back to Liberian-owned businesses and maintaining the trust since its establishment”.
At the same time, winners of the raffle draw lauded BnB Liberia for the gesture, describing it as timely and assured that the items would hugely contribute to their businesses.
“Wow! I did not expect this coming, and to my surprise, I just got a call from the company saying I won a motorbike and a surprise”.
Despite the praise, some of the winners believe that BnB Liberia can strengthen businesses’ finances before giving them such a gesture, stating that the struggling businesses are the most needed group that needs such a gesture.
