MONTSERRADO COUNTY, LIBERIA-More than thirty orphans are in dire need of the government’s support, as they risk being evicted from their current home in Careysburg.
The Executive Director of the Christ Life Orphanage Mission (CLOM), Moses Nimely, said,” CLOM is a non-governmental organization aimed at providing care, protection, and support for children who have lost their parents.”
Director Nimely disclosed that they have been working with those children for about four years in Careysburg, Walker Town, and have allegedly been put out by their partners due to contract disputes.
Meanwhile, the Christ Life Orphanage Mission boss is calling on the government, stakeholders, humanitarians, and other relevant authorities to help relocate those children and cater to their needs within Careysburg City.
The Co-founder of the Institution, Serena Nimely, also expressed sadness over the situation and noted that those orphans need shelter, education, development skills, adoption support, and social guidance to embrace a brighter future.
Madam Nimely said putting more than thirty Orphans out of their home will cause homelessness, Unemployment, Exposure to crime, and Mental health challenges.
