MONROVIA, LIBERIA- The World Bank Country Office in Liberia is expected to launch the Regional Country Policy Institution Assessment Report in Monrovia on Thursday.
According to a release, the Country Policy Institution Assessment Africa Report will be hosted by Andrew Dabalen, World Bank Chief Economist for the Africa Region.
This year’s CPIA highlights lessons from across Africa on improving services, including energy, digital, and private sector services necessary for job growth.
The report identifies key policy trends in the region that made a difference in supporting effective public service delivery in 2024.
It also explores the reforms needed to enable governments to meet the needs of their populations and strengthen the fiscal contract with their citizens through the transparent management of public resources.
The event is intended to highlight regional trends and includes discussions and examples from Liberia’s experience, along with a high-level panel of experts and practitioners working to improve governance and public service delivery.
