MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has sent a message to the Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney, on the occasion marking the 158th Independence Day of that country on Tuesday, July 1.
According to a Foreign Ministry release issued, President Boakia extended heartfelt congratulations to the government and people of Canada on behalf of Liberia.
The Liberian President assured Prime Minister Carney of Liberia’s commitment to the historic bonds of cooperation and friendship between the two countries and their peoples, which continue to be increasingly enhanced.
President Joseph Boakai also prayed that God would continue to endow the Canadian Prime Minister with wisdom, good health, and happiness as he leads the people of Canada to a prosperous future.
