MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Education and its development partners, has launched the county phase of the Back-To-My-Classroom Campaign in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
The initiative is part of a national drive led by President Josep Boakai to return two hundred fifty thousand school dropouts to classrooms across Liberia within three years.
Speaking at the county launch recently, local authorities and education stakeholders reiterated their commitment to making quality education accessible and inclusive.
The Buchanan launch served as a practical demonstration of integrated enrollment strategies, showcasing approaches intended for replication across seven targeted counties and their surrounding school communities.
A highlight of the event was the planned issuance of birth certificates to both in-school and out-of-school children, removing a critical barrier to formal enrollment.
