Liberia’s Deputy Info Minister Sando Blasts Opposition…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Deputy Information Minister Daniel Sando has blasted the opposition for trying to present the Liberian Government as ugly to the citizens, despite gains made thus far.

Minister Sando said:” The Government is making tremendous progress on its national agenda, which includes road connectivity, agriculture, rule of law, among others.”

He noted that despite the negative criticisms by the opposition, the government is determined to transform the country.

According to him, those making negative comments, even amid progress, are desperate politicians whose sole intent is to loot the country’s resources.

Meanwhile, Mr. Sando disclosed that the Turkish delegation is expected to arrive in the country to assess the operational capacity of the Roberts International Airport (RIA).

He spoke at the Ministry of Information, Culture Affairs and Tourism (MICAT) regular press briefing on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
