MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Public Works Ministry and the Monrovia City Corporation (MCC) have begun the demolition and clearing of several properties in Central Monrovia.

The exercise is intended to pave the way for the commencement of road works in the area.

At the start of the exercise, the joint team visited the Palm Grove Cemetery and other areas, demolishing properties and clearing garbage.

Our reporter said:” Citizens have welcomed the initiative, considering it a great step toward sustainable development.”

The citizens believe that road construction is paramount to the country, and as such, they are urging their counterparts to cooperate with the two ministries for the development of the nation.
