Nat’l Public Health Institute of Liberia, Partners, Begin Five-Day Finalizing, Validation Workshop…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL), in partnership with the Africa Center for Disease Control, has begun a five-day workshop in Monrovia.

The workshop is aimed at finalizing, validating, and officially launching the Liberia Event-based surveillance (EBS guideline.

According to an NPHIL release, the initiative is significant to strengthen the Country’s public health surveillance system and enhance early detection and rapid response to emerging health threats.

The event will provide a platform for thorough revision and validation of the EBS guideline, ensuring that it aligns with international best practices and the national health security framework.

It will also foster stronger collaboration among stakeholders in the Health Sector and ensure a coordinated approach to public health emergency preparedness.
