Police Investigates 16 Yr.-Old for Alleged Rape…

BOMI COUNTY, LIBERIA-A sixteen-year-old boy identified as Lawrance Taylor is been investigated by the Women and Children Affairs Divion of the Liberia National Police (LNP) for allegedly raping a nine-year-old girl in Bomi County.

Suspect Taylor reportedly committed the act over the weekend in a nearby bush, where he carried the victim to break firewood for cooking.

According to our correspondent, the perpetrator absconded from he scene after the alleged act and was later arrested by police.

During the police preliminary investigation, Lawrence Taylor admitted to the commission of the crime.

Meanwhile, doctors at the Bomi County Government Hospital, where the child is undergoing treatment, confirmed penetration.
