Central Bank of Liberia to launch two major initiatives…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Central Bank of Liberia is poised to launch two major initiatives to boost seamless financial transactions and education.

The two initiatives will focus on financial education and the usage of Pan African Payment and Settlement System.

President Joseph Boakai will officially launch the two initiatives on Thursday in Monrovia.

CBL Head of Corporate Communication, Alphonso Zeon, said:” Financial education is key for effective financial management.”

Mr. Zeon said following Thursday’s launch, the CBL will lead a nationwide engagement with citizens on financial inflow and management.

The CBL official said proper financial management is critical in reducing stress on the Government, especially in catering to the needs of the citizens.

Mr. Alphonso Zeon spoke on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, on the “Money Matters” program on ELBC Radio.
