Gov. of Liberia Commits to Supporting Nat’l AIDS Commission

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government says it will fully support the National AIDS Commission (NAC) to ensure that it carries out its statutory mandate.

Information Minister Jerolinmek Piah noted that the government will do all it can to ensure that people living with HIV are not at risk.

Minister Piah said,” The government will work with the Commission to provide people living with the virus their medication and other supplements.”

Speaking at the MICAT Regular Press Briefing in Monrovia, the Information Ministry Boss stressed that the government is taking the necessary steps to address the issues that have to do with USAID.

Minister Piah indicated that the measure has to do with waste in terms of the government’s financial activities across all sectors.
