MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Chief Pharmacist at the Health Ministry, Dr. Joshua Peters, says the division is making immense efforts in ensuring that public health facilities are fully equipped with essential drugs across the country.
Dr. Peters disclosed that in the last first quarter of their operations, they procured seven hundred thousand United States Dollars worth of drugs from the 4.7 million Dollars provided by the government.
Dr. Peters lauded the efforts of the Minister of Health, Dr. Louise Kpoto, for lobbying with the government in revamping the sector.
The Chief Pharmacist of Liberia said:” We remain committed to providing adequate and essential drugs to over five hundred public health facilities in the fifteen counties.”
Dr. Peters disclosed the Ministry of Health’s maiden edition “Road Ways to Health” on ELBC Radio on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
