Liberia Congratulates Gov., People of the Vatican…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has congratulated the Government and people of the Vatican City State, on the occasion of the 96th anniversary to be celebrated on February 11, 2025.

In the President’s message to His Holiness Pope Francis, Head of the Catholic Church and Sovereign of the Vatican City State, he extended heartfelt congratulations to His Holiness on behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Liberia, and in his name.

The Liberian leader noted with great pleasure that he acknowledges the enduring and faithful relationship between the Vatican and Liberia, urging them to pray for the attainment of social justice and world peace.

President Boakai registered the bond between Liberia and the Vatican and the significant benefits, particularly in the field of education.

He furthered that the Church’s advocacy for human rights, the rule of law, and its broader social and economic contributions have been invaluable.

He then prayed that the longstanding and cherished relationship between the two nations would continue to flourish under the guidance and grace of the Lord.
