Pres. Boakai Receives “Letters of Credence” from India, Cuba, Japan Ambassadors

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has received Letters of Credence from the Ambassadors of India, Cuba, and Japan.

In separate remarks, President Boakai recounted the long-term friendship that has subsisted between Liberia and the three nations and craved for enhanced partnership.

The Liberian Leader lauded the Government of Cuba for assistance rendered to Liberia’s Health Sector over the years.

He also hailed the Indian Republic for contributing to Liberia’s economic growth and development through several investment opportunities.

President Joseph Boakai, at the same time, recognized the immense support of the Japanese Government towards the improvement of the country’s agricultural and infrastructural sectors.

He made the remarks at the grounds of the Executive Mansion on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, upon receiving the Letters of Credence from the three Ambassadors.

Meanwhile, the Ambassadors of India, Cuba, and Japan committed their respective governments to strengthening bilateral ties with Liberia.

Ambassador Bihari Verma, Indira Arguelles, and Hiroshi Yoshimoto also vowed to build on existing friendships and programs left unfinished by their predecessors.

They lauded the Liberian Government for being a supportive partner in advancing the agendas of their respective countries.
