Sen. McGill Appeals to Congress for Democratic Change Legislative Caucus

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) Legislative Caucus Chairman, Senator Nathaniel McGill, is appealing against the removal of House Speaker, Cllr. Fonati Koffa.

According to Senator McGill, it does not augur well for the Party’s image to see ten CDC Lawmakers supporting the removal of the Speaker, a member of the Party.

The Margibi County Senator told ELBC’s Super Morning Show on Monday, October 21, 2024, that the Party has cited the ten aggrieved lawmakers of the Party to understand their grievances.

Senator McGill also said:” The move to remove Speaker Koffa is not unconstitutional and undemocratic, as being perceived. Despite their political differences, the CDC is committed to working closely with the current Government of Liberia for the common good of the Liberian people.”
