Liberia Revenue Authority Delegation Concludes Three-Day Study Mission…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A Liberia Revenue Authority delegation has concluded a three-day study mission at the Kenya Revenue Authority.

The LRA delegation explored and assessed KRA’s best practices in taxpayer education, voluntary compliance, communication strategies, complaints management, stakeholder engagement, contact Centre operations, digital media, and payment channels.

A release issued recently said the LRA Delegation, comprising staff from the Taxpayer Services Division, Communication, Media and Public Affairs Section, and Registration and Return Processing Section, was joined by representatives from the Swedish Tax Agency (STA) and the West African Tax Administration Forum (WATAF).

The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to modernize the LRA’s taxpayer services, boost compliance, and enhance customer experience.

On behalf of the LEA Delegation, Madam Mary Kambo, the Supervisor for Registration and Return Processing, thanked the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) for its hospitality and collaborative spirit.

In response, KRA’s Taxpayer Services Manager, Susan Njeru, thanked the LRA for selecting Kenya for the benchmarking mission and expressed optimism for the ongoing collaboration between the two tax authorities to enhance revenue administration in the region.
