MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The United Nations Development Program is expected to launch Cohort four of its Growth Accelerator for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises on Tuesday.

According to a release, the launch will include the signing and renewal of a Memorandum of Understanding with four local commercial banks as investment partners to the program.

In partnership with the Ministry of Commerce and Accountability Lab, the program is entering its fourth year with support for post-revenue-generating businesses, expanding to cover agricultural cooperatives and forest-based enterprises.

About fifty-seven MSMEs will be given capacity building, mentorship, and co-financing grants ranging from ten thousand to forty thousand US Dollars.

The Growth Accelerator program is designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises, agricultural cooperatives, and forest-based enterprises scale up their operations and contribute substantially to national economic development.
