Chio’s Mudslide Death Toll Rises to Eleven

RIVERCESS COUNTY, LIBERIA-The death toll at last week’s mudslide in Chio Town, Rivercess County has risen to eleven.

According to ELBC Rivercess Correspondent, the deceased was one of those pulled out of the rubble alive and hospitalized at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Monrovia.

Our Correspondent identified the deceased as Aaron Harris, a resident of Charlie Town and Registrar at the Liberia Inland Mission in the area.

Meanwhile, joint search and rescue efforts are continuing under the supervision of the National Disaster Agency.
