Plenary of the House of Rep. Summons Finance and State for Presidential Affairs Ministers…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Plenary of the House of Representatives has summoned Finance Minister Boima Kamara and the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Sylvester Grigsby, to appear before it.

They are to appear on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, next week, to give a detailed report surrounding recent travels by President Joseph Boakai and Vice President Jeremiah Koung.

The decision followed a communication from Montserrado County District Ten Representative, Yekeh Kolubah.

Representative Kolubah said the appearances of the two ministers are crucial to promoting transparency and accountability in the Public Sector.

The Montserrado County Lawmaker wants the recent travels of the Liberian Leader and his Vice President to be made public, including the cost incurred.
