Barclay Ville Central High School Students Alarmed over Alleged Absences of Teachers

GRAND KRU COUNTY, LIBERIA-Students of the Barclay Ville Central High School in Grand Kru County have alarmed over the alleged absence of teachers in the classroom.

According to ELBC Grand Kru County Correspondent, the students have also threatened to disrupt academic activities at other institutions in Barclay Ville, if there is no intervention by the relevant authorities.

Our Correspondent said:” On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, the students held a peaceful protest, calling on Education authorities to resolve the matter.”

Meanwhile, the Principal of Barclay Ville Central High School, Francis Wesseh, said:” Only two teachers are absent due to illness.”

Mr. Wesseh told our Correspondent that others are active in the discharge of their duty, contrary to the claims of students.
