MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Former Nimba County District Two Representatives Johnson Gwaikolo is dead.

Family sources said:” Mr. Gwaikolo died on Sunday evening, February 18, 2024, at the Saint Joseph Catholic Hospital, in Congo Town, in Monrovia, after he had been sick.”

The cause of his sudden death remains unknown.

He served as Representative of Nimba County District Two for six years, and last served as Chairman on the Committee on Rules, Order and Administration at the House of Representatives.

In a statement, the House of Representatives said the former lawmaker’s death has left a profound void in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
