MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Former Liberian President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has rallied Liberians to support the incoming government of President-elect Joseph Boakai for the overall development of Liberia.
Madam Sirleaf said:” Liberians should promote post-election unity and peace and put the country above political interest to ensure national transformation.”
The former Liberian Leader spoke on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, when she appeared as a guest on the program, Changing Minds, Changing Attitudes, on ELBC Radio.
Madam Sirleaf said:” Democracy in Liberia is maturing with two peaceful transitions in the sub-region, where coups and military take-overs are major issues.”
Madam Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf said:” Liberia is on an irreversible course and will continue to be credited for promoting good democracy in the region.”
