FeJAL President-Elect Vows to Decentralize the Institution

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The President-elect of the Female Journalists Association of Liberia (FeJAL), Lisa Diasay, has vowed to decentralize the institution.

Madam Diasay said:” Decentralization, capacity building, and inclusiveness, are key priorities of my leadership.”

She also promised to construct resource centers and assign coordinators across Liberia to make FeJAL more accessible and participatory.

Appearing on ELBC Super Morning Show on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, Madam Diasay said:” An assessment survey aimed at prioritizing the interest and needs of FeJAL members is expected to be conducted shortly.”

According to Madam Lisa Diasay, the exercise will help female journalists invest in a specialized field of reporting.
