President-Elect Boakai Proposes Yearly Conference on Diaspora Engagement…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President-Elect Joseph Boakai has proposed a yearly conference on Diaspora Engagement to enhance cooperation and facilitate the development of Liberia.

Ambassador Boakai described the Liberian Diaspora Community as a crucial and integral part of the country’s development agenda.

The President-Elect said:” The work of Diaspora Communities and their organizations have helped to address some of the critical issues confronting the country.”

Ambassador Boakai was speaking over the weekend when he addressed scores of Liberian Diaspora citizens in Rhode Island, the United States of America.

The President-Elect hailed them for their vested interest and support of their country over the years.
