Liberia Joint Presidential Transitional Team Prepares for President-Elect’s Inauguration

MONROVIA, LIBERIA- Members of the Joint Presidential Transitional Team have ended a one-day meeting with several resolutions advanced.

The resolutions include the release of its budget on Monday, December 18, 2023, covering all activities for the upcoming inauguration.

Speaking at the end of the meeting, Foreign Minister Dee-Maxwell Kemayah said:” The Team will launch a joint cleanup campaign in the coming days.”

He said the Joint Presidential Transitional Team will not receive funding for services rendered.

Foreign Minister Dee-Maxwell Kemayah also disclosed that following the meeting, a request was made for the inauguration to be held at the Capitol Building on Capitol Hill.
