Ministry of Education Hails Public School Administrators…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Education has hailed public school administrators for upholding the Ministry’s regulations.

The Ministry’s Communications Director, Maxim Bleetan, said:” Public administrators have been in full compliance and have executed the Ministry’s guidelines over the years.”

Mr. Bleeten made the statement on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, on the ELBC Education at Mid-week program.

He also called on private school administrators to fully operate in line with the Ministry’s regulations.

Mr. Maxim Bleeten said:” Though some private schools have been complying, more efforts need to be applied to ensure full adherence.”

At the same time, the Ministry of Education is urging school administrators across the country to ensure the accreditation of their schools.

Mr. Bleeten said:” The West African Examination Council (WAEC) will only process the registration of candidates of accredited schools.”

The Ministry’s Communication Director told ELBC that the Ministry will take tough actions against schools caught operating without a permit.

Mr. Maxim Bleeten believes that being accredited by the Ministry will help enhance and improve the country’s educational system.
