Liberia Maritime Authority condemns missile attack on KMAX RULER Vessel…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia Maritime Authority has condemned the missile attack on the KMAX RULER Vessel flying the Liberian Flag near Port Odesa in Ukraine.

The attack left one Ukrainian pilot dead and three other crew members seriously injured.

A release quotes the Maritime Authority as calling on authorities of Odesa Port to launch an inquiry into the KMAX VESSEL attack in line with the international Maritime Organization to ensure the safety and security of seafarers and ships under international law.

Meanwhile, the Liberia Maritime Authority has consoled the bereaved families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
