NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-An eighteen-year-old man has shot dead his eleven-year-old brother in Zahn Zayee, District 9, in Nimba County.

Tee-Boy Dixon reportedly shot his brother, Emmanuel Dixon, in the stomach with a single-barrel short gun in their room on Monday, November 6, 2023.

According to ELBC Correspondent, both the perpetrator and victim had just returned from school and were apparently playing with the gun when the incident happened.

Witnesses told ELBC that immediately after the incident, suspect Tee-Boy ran out with his little brother’s body before escaping the scene.

Police have since launched a manhunt for the suspect who escaped with the single-barrel short gun.

Meanwhile, the owner of the gun is currently behind bars in Tappita, along with other relatives, while police continue their investigation.
