Youth Media Action Honors Three Liberian Journalists…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Youth Media Action, with support from Internews through USAID, has awarded three young Liberian journalists in the country.

The three journalists were awarded for their outstanding contributions to quality journalism in Liberia.

They are ELBC Reporter, Emmanuel Kollie, Kool FM Siaway Miapue, and Women TV Reporter, Laymah Kollie.

A followed a recent competitive process to spotlight and celebrate the works of young journalists who have demonstrated passion and commitment over the years.

Meanwhile, Internews Senior Journalism Trainer, Turwon Sulonteh Brown, admonished young journalists to be passionate and seek knowledge to better their career.

Madam Brown said:” Young journalists have all the technology and opportunity needed to improve their work.”
