Coalition for Democratic Change Nat’l Chairman Predicts Decisive Victory…

MONROV IA, LIBERIA-The Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) National Chairman, Mulbah Morlue, has predicted a resounding victory for the Party in the ensuing Presidential Run-Off Election.

Chairman Morlue said:” The CDC has succeeded by building ‘Blue Grand Coalition’ with top political institutions to democratically retire Unity Party (UP) Standard Bearer, Joseph Boakai, in the Run-Off Election.”

He also rallied partisans and supporters of the Party to vigorously campaign and massively turn out for the re-election of President George Weah.

Chairman Morlue also commended the Political Leaders of the All Liberian Party (ALP) and the Alternative National Congress (ANC), Benoni Urey and Alexander Cummings for their collaboration with the CDC, ahead of the Run-Off Election.

Chairman Mulbah Morlue lauded CDCians and supporters for their massive turn-out and urged them to redouble their efforts to ensure that President Weah’s second-term ambition is achieved.

Meanwhile, the ruling CDC says it remains committed to the protection of Liberia’s peace and security, amid persistent acts of provocation against it.

Mr. Morlue said:” Partisans and supporters of the Party are peace-loving Liberians as envisaged by their Standard Bearer, President Weah.”

Chairman Morlue noted that CDC supporters will not choose to become anti-peace elements, because they are pushing the agenda of Peace Ambassador George Weah, who is a national and international respecter of human rights.

He also boasted of the Party’s political success story, citing the winning of 27 legislative seats as a landmark achievement.

The Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) National Chairman announced the holding of a memorial program on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, for fallen CDCians in 2011 under the regime of former President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.
