MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Police in Paynesville City have launched an inquiry into the discovery of a body in the Red Hill Community.

According to reports, the residents discovered the decomposed body in a stream, though the cause of death has not been established.

However, Red Hill Community Chairman, Marcus Corbin, is calling on the Liberia National Police (LNP) to remove the body as investigation progresses.

Mr. Corbin said:” The swift removal of the body from the community is important to avoid health hazard for residents in the area.”

Up to press time, no one has claimed ownership of the body for the past five days running.
