Liberia’s Nat’l Council of Chiefs and Elders Cautions Liberians…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Council of Chiefs and Elders of Liberia wants Liberians, especially political actors and their supporters, to remain peaceful ahead of the pending Presidential Run-Off Election.

The Council’s Spokesman, Chief Matthew Smith, said:” It is incumbent upon all Liberians to maintain the peace, irrespective of their political differences.”

Speaking on the Super Morning Show on Thursday, October 26, 2023, Chief Smith also lauded Liberians for peacefully participating in the first-round of the elections, describing the turnout as unprecedented.

The National Council of Chiefs and Elders Spokesperson also called on citizens to turnout in their numbers on November 14 to vote in the Run-Off Election.
